How to Make Rainbow Donuts
These might be my favorite donuts yet! It was so easy to color the glaze and make the rainbow stripes on a shallow dish then dip and done! I might have to whip another batch up for a friend just to surprise them and see their reaction. :)
Ingredients (makes a dozen):
For the Donuts:
1.25 cups flour
1/3 cup sour cream
1/3 cup milk
1.25 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon allspice (you could use cinnamon instead)
2 tablespoons melted butter (salted)
1/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
For the glaze:
Food coloring
1 cup powdered sugar
3-4 tablespoons milk
Bake donuts at 390F for 6-7 minutes.
