DIY Chocolate Easter Cake Since I'm part Greek we celebrated Greek Easter with my grandparents and had a delicious traditional meal complete with a whole red easter egg cracking thing that was the highlight of the holiday. We also celebrated regular easter, which in our family at least tended to be more chocolate-centric I remember chocolate bunnies both solid and hollow, little tiny chocolate eggs, and of course the holy grail of easter candy, Cadbury eggs! I wanted to make a cake that reminded me of those little oeufs and captured the childhood sugar-addled spirit while not going off the deep end aesthetically. The end result turned out really tall but I like it! The chocolate cake is moist and fluffy and I love the bit of coconut you get from the "grass" on top.
