Some singer-songwriters have the power to rock out convincingly, others are pros at waxing introspective. James Bay has a knack for both. For the last few years the UK phenom behind "Let It Go" has showed his fans each side of the coin. His sensitive side is always up front, but when he opened last year's 'Electric Light' with "Wasted On Each Other" and "Pink Lemonade,"a he sounded right at home powering through those crunchy guitar chords. Bay's also a prolific dude; new tunes are always popping up. The new 'Oh My Messy Mind' EP collects four of 'em, and to give it some extra dap, we had JB into our studios to capture stripped-down versions of "Bad" and "Break My Heart Right." They're gentle, poignant and gorgeous.
