Evidently the singer-rapper and his brain trust thought scarcity would attract some big fish. Score one for brain trusts. His wildly catchy music is now being delivered by the Columbia label and the Team Fike is on the runway to success. You CAN hear his tracks these days. Check "Phone Numbers," "Rollerblades," and "Açaí Bowl" for a taste of his totally smooth, cooly vibey approach. A Jack Johnson fan who knows his way around hazy hip-hop, he personalized blend of the two is fetching. He shows us his one-man-band side in this "King of Everything" DSCVR performance. Looping instrumental motifs and snaking his vocals through the action suits him well.
