America's scientific community is already feeling the brunt of Donald Trumps proposed cuts, fearing for the future of their work, researchers are looking abroad for opportunities. In France, one university is opening its doors to those seeking refuge. "We did it for scientists in danger in war-torn countries, and now we're doing it for these colleagues because it's urgent,” said Eric Berton, president of France’s Aix-Marseille University.
