Germany’s Merkel condemns ‘unjustified’ expulsion of diplomats during summit with France’s Macron

The Russian government has expelled Swedish, German and Polish #diplomats this Friday, accusing them of taking part in protests for the release of Kremlin critic Alexei #Navalny. This comes the same day as EU Foreign Affairs chief Josep Borrell met his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov, and as German Chancellor Angela #Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron were holding talks, when Merkel condemned the “unjustified” move, as FRANCE 24’s Nick Spicer reports from Berlin.
